Clean Creatives on Campus Application - Due December 3, 2023
Clean Creatives is a movement of advertisers, creative professionals, and their clients cutting ties with fossil fuels.
We’re hiring our inaugural class of campus fellows to engage students in our campaign to cut ties between fossil fuels and the advertising industry. Successful candidates will have excellent personal organization, be goal-driven self-starters, and be able to engage their peers in the campaign.
About Clean Creatives
Clean Creatives is a project for PR and ad professionals who want a safe climate future. We are strategists, creatives, and industry leaders who believe that fossil fuel clients represent a threat to our shared future. We are expanding our campaign to college campuses to engage the next generation of creative professionals in ending greenwashing by not working with fossil fuel clients or their front groups. Over 800 agencies and 2,000 creatives have already taken our pledge to commit to not working with fossil fuels.
Responsibilities
Fellows will engage their peers through outreach activities, will meet twice monthly on Zoom, and have support from a mentor in the creative field.
Engaging students and peers in the clean creative campaign through outreach and education events using tactics like tabling, events, and speaking engagements.
Connecting with student organizations in the creative and advertising spaces about the work of Clean Creatives and the ties between fossil fuels and advertising
Attending twice-monthly remote seminars on skills for outreach and engagement as well as learning more deeply about the connections between fossil fuels and advertising
Desired Qualifications
Excellent personal organization
A willingness to engage with fellow students on issues like climate change and the connections between fossil fuels and the advertising industry.
A desire to create change in the advertising industry
Application Guidelines
Undergraduate college students studying advertising or communications are eligible to apply.

Compensation
A stipend of $1600 will be paid in two disbursements over the semester. Internship credit may also be available.
